• The clock represents two things- minutes and hour.
• The smaller one is hour hand .
• The larger one is minute hand.

• The minute hand makes one complete rotation (360°) in 60 minute .
• The angle traced by minute hand in 1 min = 360/60= 6°

• The hour hand makes one complete rotation (360°) in 12 hours.
• The angle traced by hour hand in 1 hour = 360/12= 30°
• The angle traced by hour hand in 1 min = 30/60= 1/2°

• The hands of the clock are opposite to each other for 11 times in 12 hours and 22 times in a day. 
• Between 5 and 7 the hands are at opposite direction only once at 6’ O clock

• The hands of the clock coincide each other for 11 times in 12 hours and 22 times in a day. 
• Between 11 and 1 the hands coincide only once at 12’ O clock

• The hands are at right angles 44 times in a day

• Angle between hour hand and minute hand is 30H - 11/2 M

H - hour , M - Minute

If the angle exceeds 180° subtract from 360° ignore the negative sign

• To get mirror image time upto 11’ O clock , subtract the given time from 11:60 
• If the time is between 11 ’O clock and 1 ‘O clock , subtract the given time from 23:60
