  • Flowing into the Bay of Bengal: Brahmaputra, Kaveri, Ganga,Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna
  • The Himalayan river system comprises the Indus,the Ganga and the Brahmaputra. Himalayan rivers are perennial and flow the throughout the year.
  • Peninsular rivers are seasonal and flow during a certain period in a year.  Major rivers of the peninsula are Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna,  Narmada , Tapi and Kaveri

The clock represents two things- minutes and hour. The smaller one is hour hand . The larger one is minute hand. The minute hand makes one complete rotation (360°) in 60 minute . The angle traced by minute hand in 1 min = 360/60= 6° The hour hand makes one complete rotation (360°) in 12 hours.
